Dr Strange in Multiverse of Madness: Not Marvel best, but it has its moments

I got to say, I did not know what to expect at Marvel attempt at making the newest Dr Strange movie into a type of horror style, superhero film. Disney is not what I think of when it comes to horror films, and they are more well known for making films with action and comedy rather than scares. That is to say while Dr Strange in The Multiverse of Madness was not my most favorite film, it was not the worst either.

The film takes place sometime after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Dr Steven Strange finds himself unhappy. Christine, his love interest from the first film, had moved on and married someone else while Steven had been snapped out of existence. During the wedding, Steven witnesses a monster trying to kidnap a girl named America Chavez. Steven rescues the girl, only to learn that someone has put a bounty on her head. This leads to Steven and America going on a hair raising adventure that involves different universes, alternate versions of freinds and allies, even a version of The Illuminati. I got to say my favorite seen was when Professor X made his appearance.

Benedict Cumberbatch makes an awesome Dr Strange, and Xochitl Gomez was great as AMerican Chavez. Elizabeth Olsen and Benedict Wong reprise their roles as Wanda Maximoff/ Scarlett Witch and Wong . Chiwetel Eijofor plays Mordo
