Book Review: Jack Reacher ” The Killing Floor”

It has been a long time since I’ve done a book review for my blog. Lately, I’ve started reaching the Jack Reacher series by Lee Child. I am only hallways through ” The Killing Floor,” and I am already a fan of Jack Reacher. Lee Child has managed to create a interesting character, former military police officer Jack Reacher. Jack Reacher is pretty much a loner type. He is just travelling across the country, not sure what to do with himself. In the first book of the series, Jack comes to the small town of Margrave. Margrave appears to be the exact picture a normal, American , small town. Margrave has an unseen, seedy underbelly though. As soon as Jack arrives in town he and local Paul Hubble are arrested as suspects in a murder case. When they get released, Hubble goes missing, and Jack discovers that the dead body belongs to his estranged brother Joe.

I got to say, I am very pleased with how this book delivers action. Action is not an easy thing to pull off when writing a novel. and yet Lee Child makes it seem effortless. It is clear that Lee knew what he was doing when writing the book and the character. When you read the book, you feel like you are right there in the middle of it alongside Jack and all the other characters. Cannot wait until I finsish this book, and see the ending.
